Supported Configurations for Infor ERP Swan
Windows XP Client
The 4.2.0 release of Infor ERP Swan Manufacturing is cleared for use on Windows XP clients with either Windows 2000 or Windows NT servers. Our testing was carried out with Sage Version 7.2 with no issues found, and this has now been confirmed by a number of users. Due to some configuration issues, it may be necessary to upgrade the Sage System Manager to version 7.5.
Windows 2003 Server
This new server version was rolled out by Microsoft during Spring 2003. After testing by Sage, they announced that their version 7.6 of Line 100 is approved for use on WIN 2003 servers with WIN XP Pro clients which is linked to Infor ERP Swan version 4.2.2. Other clients may be used, but have not been fully tested, especially Win 2000 and NT4.
